Deep Sea fishing charters and inshore charter fishing in Charleston and Folly Beach have been finding some nice catches lately as shrimp and mullet really began to show up in numbers in our creeks and waterways. Inshore fishing charters are targeting Flounder, Redfish and Speckled Trout and are finding them during the outgoing and incoming tides. Be prepared to run into speedy Spanish Mackerel and bait shredding Blue fish along the major current flows in the harbor and jetties. Keeping a few rods rigged and ready with a variety of tackle will keep your mind in the game and give you the chance to respond to opportunities as they present themselves. A rod or two with a popping cork rigged with a circle hook, jig and Z-Man minnow or  DOA shrimp should be in your arsenal. A Carolina rig should be ready to plunk down beside structure and a rods rigged with a swim baits and diamond jig or Gotcha plugs should have you ready for whatever you run into during your time on the water.

Deep Sea Fishing charters are targeting larger fish with live Blue Crabs, Menhaden and big

Mullet fished cut or whole. Expect to pick up Black Drum, Sharks and Bull Reds this time of year. Tarpon have been boated along our coast and it’s prime time to be on the hunt for the Silver Kings. Check in with the guys at your local tackle shop to tell you what is working best and what you need to have to tilt the odds in your favor.  If you have any questions or want to book a Fishing charter just give me a call at 843-696-4231. The people in these photos below did and we had a great time!
