Charter fishingCharter Fishing in Charleston and Folly Beach has been good so far in November and if history repeats itself we will have good fishing through the end of the year. As the water continues to cool we are seeing greater numbersDeep Sea Fishing of Redfish move into the creeks and flats as they actively feed for the upcoming winter. Our fishing charters are still targeting big Bull Redfish in the deeper channels and heavy structure around the jetties. Speckled Trout fishing has improved greatly over the past few weeks. We have been using a variety of baits for the Trout including live shrimp, mud minnows, z-man soft plastics and DOA shrimp. Trout like to feed in moving water so find some current and set yourself up with gear that will give you a nice long cast. Some Trout bites can be pretty subtle so I tend to use lighter tackle so I can feel the fish pick up the lure or bait. Once the fish has it a moderate sweep set is all you need to do to get that fish hooked up. Swing too hard and you can actually rip a hole through their soft mouths and pull the hook. Hope this helps you get ready for some of the best fishing of the year! Lets get out there together!
